Directions To Upper Campus:
The University of Cape Town's Upper Campus issituated on the slopes of Devil's Peak in the suburb of Rondebosch. To reach the Upper Campus from the city, drive along De Waal Drive passing Groote Schuur Hospital on the way. Just beyond the Old Mill on your left, take the Rosebank/University turn-off. Turn right at the traffic lights and go under the De Waal Drive bridge to the northern entrance of the campus. Please check in at the Visitors’ Centre opposite the Sports Centre where directions, campus maps and temporary visitors' parking permits may be obtained.

Directions to our offices:
Go to the Visitors’ Centre to get a visitor disk, then drive along Rugby Road (with rugby fields on your LHS). Our office is on the 2nd floor of the little cream two-story house on the corner of Rugby Road and University Ave - just before the vehicular access booth and opposite the lay byes that are used for “drop off and go” or buses. (See orange star on map). Visitor’s parking is available on ring road and in the Engineering mall (P11).

There is visitor parking along Residence Road, but these are often full. The most commonly available spaces are on ring road. Continue on Rugby road to the booth, show your visitors disk and turn right up ring road. Shortly after the booms you will see visitor parking bays on the left side of ring road. If you walk back down ring road there is a pathway that runs behind the bus-stops, down to the first floor of our building.
